ComfyUI Cloud Onboarding: Sign-up, Invites & Email Verification

Sign-up, invites, email verification and a branded splash screen for the ComfyUI Cloud launch.

Overview

For the ComfyUI Cloud launch, on a tight schedule, I designed and built the onboarding flow new users see first.

For the Cloud launch, the first-run experience had to be built fast while designs were still arriving.

Firebase-based sign-up and sign-in, invite codes, an email verification check with polling, a waitlist screen for signed-in users and an onboarding survey.
Access control with Router Guards, no unwanted login redirects when the WebSocket reconnects, and no duplicate verification emails on page refresh.
Sentry error tracking on auth API calls, plus Open Graph and Twitter meta tags for the Cloud deployment.
Designed a logo-fill loader and a splash screen that appears before Vue loads, so the wait feels intentional (with inlined CSS so the SPA fallback doesn't break).

Invite code flow
Users who are already signed in skip the login step and accept the invite directly.

Email verification polling
Detects the verified email automatically, moves to the next step and prevents duplicate sends.

Splash and loading motion
A brand splash and logo loader appear even before Vue has loaded.
